Hi, I have a 1997 C-230. Recently on a service the mechanic had to reset the electronics and I need to enter my 4 digit code. The code has one of the 7, 8, or 9 in it and I don't know how to enter it because the console only has number 1-6. I tried to look up the manual but could not find anything. Can anyone help?

no... if the key pad only has 6 buttons then the code will be 1-6 no 7,8,9. are you talking about the radio code?

 

Yes, I am talking about the radio code. It's getting pretty lonely driving these days...

 

You need to enter 6 digits for radio code. If you don't have card with radio code, your MB dealer will provide it for you free of charge. If the radio did not come with car, MB dealer can not help you out.
