Default Hood wont stay open or up!!!

I recently had a guy change my headlight bulb at autozone in the sub zero weather and the next day I went to lift my hood and it wont stay up?! It seems like there is no suction or pressure in the black tube like looking things that hold it up? Is this a big job to take care of? What do I need to have done? What is wrong with the hood support? Any suggestions? Thanks!

those hood struts wear out over time. auto parts stores like pep boys often have a good selection of them in stock and an application guide where you can look up which one you need. or the dealer will likely stock them. use a broomhandle or something to hold the hood up while they are changed.

I doubt the guy that changed your bulb had anything to do with your hood not being able to hold itself. Chances are your hood struts were broken before you brought your car in for a headlight. Like others said you can prob get a pair of hoodstruts at your local parts store and they are pretty easy to change.
