my gf just picked up a 02 c230 kompressor . theres a couple of questions i have 1 she bought itwith 112km on it n when she drives it seems 2 shift a bit aggressive only problem is that is auto. she said it goes 2 almost 3500rpm before its shifting is that normal? is the tranny slipping? also i wanted 2 buy a 05 cd player because hers came with a tape deck will the 05 cd player plug rite up? and the w and s on the tranny which should it be in. and whats the bolt pattern 5 x ? thanx in advance

 

I don't know about the shifting thing - I haven't noticed exactly where mine shifts, aside from when I'm purposefully using the "tiptronic" to accelerate. So someone else will have to chime in about that. The transmission should be on S unless you are driving in winter conditions (or maybe a lot of rain as well?) The W changes the way the transmission shifts so that it is more gradual - it shifts earlier and starts in 2nd. The car will feel very sluggish if you are driving in good conditions with it on W... The bolt pattern is 5x112.
