HELP! Need to remove window tint on a 2003 C32
Somebody please help me with the right way to remove window tint on my 2003 C32. I have read a lot of posts that people are having the scratches on the door windows like I'm having. I decided to just remove all the tint and leave it at that. But, I don't know how to remove it and don't want to damage the rear window defoggers. Could somebody pleasegive me instructions on how to remove all the window tint on my car. Thanks!

I except no responsibility. So do this on ur own. If u want some ideas that i have tried and used when i tinted or removed it: i would;
get a windex or spray bottle-
clean it out well with dawn or mild detergent, fill it w denatured alcohol.
lay plastic over rear deck then a small towel u use for car stuff or bath towel size rag so not to damage the leather. it shouldnt n e way but be smart n e way.
dont use a razor to peel use a razor after spraying n area to pull on the tint to get it started and use your hands then get the remaining glue off w the alcohol.
u can spray the tint as well helps loosen it up

Yes, that's basically the procedure. Let me warn you.
It's a mess. Doing on a hot day is the only way most tint shops will do it for you.
There's a right way and a wrong way to do this job. I did my own tint removal with ammonia
and water in a spray bottle, but the glue left on the windows when I did it was a mess and time
consuming to do. But I was so mad about the scratches, it had to go. Then I did the "felt" or what some
people call moleskin on the inside weatherstrips. Gotta pull the door panels for that one. Yes, you can
do this job, but prepare and be ready to take some time to do it. Or let a tint shop do it. You don't wanna
be buying a new backglass.

i agree w mr coyote 100% but i will say the denatured alcohol will take that glue off w/out messing up the defrosters. if ur gonna tint it which i didnt catch the first time def have a shop do the back glass u dont wanna mess up that window n second time off will wear those defrosters down.
