I have a 2001 C320 with 87k miles on it. Recently the Electronic Stability Program message has come on stating "visit shop" from time to time. It won't come on for a couple weeks then it seems to come on almost everytime I drive it for a couple weeks, before disappearing again. Anyone have an idea of what the problem is? Is there a simple way to reset the computer?

This forum helped me solve some past issues the dealer couldn't, so when I saw your post, I had to join! I just picked up my '01 C320 (75k miles) from the dealer, and I too just started with the "ESP - Visit Workshop" message. It turns out, after the $112 diagnostic chg, that my problem was the ESP steering wheel position sensor failed, which requires the steering wheel be pulled and a new part installed for about $230. (The cheapest service of three this Service A visit). Hope this is helpful!
