Default Heated Screen Washer Jets

I need to replace the heated screen waher jets on a 98 C200, basically the **** thing snapped while I was trying to fix a blockage, BUT - I cannot figure out how to disconnect the wires?? It looks like 2 lugs on the side need pressing in, but they don't seem to move and I'm nervous of using too much force after snapping the body of the jet, it's bitter cold at the moment which isn't helping either as the plastic is brittle and I cannot feel my hands after 5 minutes!!
Thanks in advance - any help greatly appreciated

Default RE: Heated Screen Washer Jets

try dipping them on a hot water for a few minutes or use your wife's hot air hair drier.

this will soften the plastic a little with enough flexibility that you need.
