The screen washer jets on my 2002 slk seem to be blocked.Is it possible to remove the jets without dissasembling the underbonnet panel. the jets seem to be in 2 pieces with a small apperture,does the top piece prise off? I don't want to damage them.i've tried unblocking with a needle etc.

No. They don't come apart from the top (outside).
You need to access from the underside to replace. On my 320 they are heated. not sure about the 230.

Are you sure water is reaching the jets?

Can you hear the pump run (located in front right hand wing behind the tyre). have to remove wheelarch liner to access.

Are you sure the hose isn't trapped near the bonnet hinge.
