Hello all... Well I am looking to get feedback on hardwiring my V1 in my new 2007 C230 Sport. I havedone this in my Toyota Sequoia and Ford Explorer but I am not sure of doing it in a Mercedes. I would need a 12 voly switced power source close to a chassy ground point. I would mount the V1 in the upper passenger side window and look to run a lin to the remote in teh ash tray area. Does anyone have any experience in this area.

all you have to do is run a wire to the posotive on the existing 12v power outlet and then ground the radar detector. I just did the same thing to my Volvo. I used a auxilary lighting relay and used it to power my radar detector, remoter amp wire and an extra power outlet. I hope this helps.
