I have several scratches on my c230 LCD Display and was wondering what I can use to buff them out? Or can just the display glass be replaced by the dealer? Small problem but its bothering me? Any information or experiences would be appreciated.

 

I have the same issues on my 2005 SLK. I bought it from a MA dealer sight unseen; they trucked it 600 miles to me in Northern KY. I could see in the pictures that the screen was not great, but they said that it was ok in person.

It’s worse when the unit is off. When on daylight (light screen), it is not too bad. At night (dark screen), its tolerable.

I’m open to suggestions, but I’m concerned about making it worse. I have checked the other MB forums and I have not found a reference to “COMMAND scratches” so it may not be a very common problem.
