I wanted to ask if anyone knows of someone who rebuilds/salvages and orsells a wireengine harness for my 98c280 that I won't need a kidney for. This part is rather steep and I wished someone could repair my existing cable. My problem is at 65 or even 30mph- flooring the throttle the engine surges back and forth. If this is an ecu problem no ecu code shows. Other than a can buss error and #5,#6 misfire codes for a diagnostic1 service station thinks it is an ecu and the other the harness because it is biodegradable? Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Anyone have anythoughts on what's going onfor my c280 that surges? I had it checked for an ecu and or an engine wire harness but the harness looks to be in good condition and no codes popped up for my ecu?

 

Have you now determined the exact cause. Cause I have the same issue with my W202 1994. Can you share your solution?
