Default need engine wire harness

well I need a harness for my 1995 that is hesitating and backfiring intermediatly. I called the $tealership and they want $1247 for a new one for my car, they say I need the more expensive one since my car is a later model 95???? does anyone know where I can get this thing cheaper, I got the part number from them it is 2024407905 Please let me know if you have any information.

Are you doing the work yourself or the dealership? The wires going to my coils were going bad. Dealership wanted $1,200 for the harness. I fixed it by cutting out the old wires and replacing with new for under $10.

here is the problem with cutting the harness if the harness is cracked by the coils its is cracked elsewhere also is what i have happen to me quite a few times is the client declines replacing the harness because it is expensive i agree. but then they drive the car off the lot and the harness shorts out at the air mass( harness runs to air mass also) and starts a small electrical fire and shorts out the hfm control unit aka fuel injection control unit. that control unit is only 32 hundred so it would be wise to get that harness replaced. you can buy the harness and install it yourself its really easy i promise

Does the Air flow meter also has to be replaced?
