Door Panel Removal
Hello,
This is my maiden run with posting a question here. Can anyone tell me how to remove the door panel on a 2007 C230 Sport for adding speakers? I can get the bottom half off (loose) but the top half will not come free. What a drag! Thanks for the help!

check mbworld.org the people over there are much more into modding than those over here.
with a little flat screw driver -pop off the "SRS" badge on the door- theres a t-20 under there
-pop off the outer door handle- theres a couple t-20 under there also
-pop off the little cover by the latch/striker- also a t-20 holding that on.
unscrew the door lock pin
take the door panel off- but be careful- there's some electrical connections that need to be unhooked as well as the rod for the door handle/opener.
there's a picture how-to on mbworld.org in the Cclass section if you need/want better directions.
