Default Cigarette Lighter is not working

2008 C350

I use it for phone charging. The one in the glove box works
There is no fuse diagram any where.
The manual says "call you dealer"
Does anybody have a diagram or know which fuse to check or something else?

Thanks for help.

just look at the fuses with a pen light or use a meter. but usually you can just see it by eye. i think the fuse is in the trunk on the right side behind the panel. usually its a 15amp fuse. you can also check the fuse box under the hood. driver side.

I replace and it still doesn't work.
A coin fell in the outlet - could that burnout the outlet?

Thanks again

Oh, yea... That's how students use to cut the power to the school for an early release.

no i see it all the time. coins in the socket. there is probably another fuse blown someplace...actually you might need to adjust the contacts inside of the socket. there are 4 tabs that you can slightly bend outward to make better contact with the lighter heater element. but still you probably have another fuse blown someplace, also check the socket .just because the element doesnt work doesnt mean that the cigar lighter is not working. try usuing something to try in the outlet radar detector or phone charger. like I said maybe the contacts need adjustment.
