Default cannot start after replacing crankshaft sensor

My first post. i have a C200 1998 Elegance estate running on LPG. over the last year I have had an intermittent fault that when the car was left for 2-3 hours after having been driven for any distance, it would not start again . if left until completely cold would start with no problem. MAF sensor changed but made no difference. Decided to change crankshaft and camshaft sensors, now won't start at all! Will turn over ok and attempts to fire but will not keep running. Not a LPG issue as car always started on petrol. any ideas most welcome!!

Default Relay?

Don't know if this will help, but in my 1996 C280 with the symptom of cranking but no starting and nothing else wrong, it turned out to be a relay, not the CPS, I believe K-24 but it's been several years and I don't remember.
