replacement on a Mercedes coupe c23, my Mechanic removed the mounting strut and the spring coil off the car. But he can't remove the springs off the mounting strut once its out off the car. He can't remove the the springs even when using his clamp compressor. for what I could notice, the top of the strut nut could not be loosen up. Please help and thank you

 

There's a special tool to hold the threads still, but if you use a impact wrench and angle it a little it should zip right off. Make sure the spring is full compressed to avoid an accident.
