Yep seems that they replaced it with some unusual contraption that has a mind of its own.
Hi all thanks for all your posts regarding (Under Bonnett Rewire) Had to succumb to a Stealership and part with $1400 AUS as well as replace the MAF 1995 C220 110K's
Seems that a bug still hasnt been eliminated though> Prior to the wiring debacle we would be driving a very reluctant car IE surging coughing, running on 4 cylinders, all the typical eros associated with a wiring harnessproblem. On the way to the auto elec. our cabin fan decided that it wasnt hot enough outside it wanted to cook us from the inside as well and initiated FULL HOT AIR Fan FOrced without even switching it on. Mind you Australian SUmmers are hot enough but this wasnot a joke. We where told by the auto elec that the fan problem may not be attributable to the wiring harness under bonnett , rather a solenoid or ? something may eb at afult. He i am after parting with a cool $2000 for the wiring and still have fan issue seems i need to track this one down myself .
Does any one have any suggestions or have maybe been visited by aliens also and have a possessed cabin fan setup that may be able to help.
