Default C320

I'm considering the purchase of a 2003 C320 4Matic. I've driven the car and like the way it handles and the attention to detail. However, I'm concerned about the frequency of repair. What has been your experience?

Bought 2002 C320 RWD 2 month ago. Here is my story.

Got limited warranty for 60 days or 2500 miles. I ent on MB dealership and did "used car inspection". They do it for $220. And I strongly recommend you to do so.

During that inspection was found (and they offered to fix it): rear pads replacement (for $650), oil seepage in rear differential ($900), front control arm bushings ($650)

I said no thanks, I went back to dealership where I purchased my car. They fixed all those things for free (it was under the warranty). Their charge was much cheapper.

After two months I came back to MB dealership to inspect my car again. Paid another $125. No any defects found.

Lesson learnt - if you buy used MB it's always good to have a machanic in your area who knows this model. Or buy extended warranty for MB labor.

The car is good. I don't feel sorry that I bought it. And, of course, visit this great forum. Good luck
