c240 Problems with Boot lock
Hello all,
I have a Mercedes C240 year 2000 X Reg.. The automatic lock for the boot has stopped working. I have opened the boot lock up and I can see that when I press the auto open button the little electric motor turns a few cogs around but doesn't click the auto release. The final cog is not turning the plastic lock release, but I can't see anything thats obviously broken off.(the complicated turn key pull handle emergency manual rlease still works)
So my question is.. Has anyoneever repaired a lockin this situation or do I have to buy a completely new lock unit (lets hope not)..
