Default C230 Kompressor 1999

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

I would like to see if anyone had this problem with his 99 C230 Kompressor. The check engine light is on.
I had it checked out at the dealer and they told me CODE PO170 self adaptations. They recommended new MAF sensor and oil seperator. I did the repair and 35miles later the check engine light went back on. The card doesn't do anyting weird accept upon turning off the ignition it shakes like a diesel. I seems like a short cut on fuel, like the fuel pump shots of to early or whatnot.
Does anybody have an idea.
Note: I have been driving in w/this problem for more than 6 mnths.
I would apreaciate it.

Did you replace both items? Did you make sure you got all of the vacuum hoses reattached and sealed? Especially with an oil separator replacement, there are lots of vacuum hoses that can slip off or become split if the hoses had become brittle. At first I thought you might need to reset your adaptions but if you have driven 35 miles, that should have cured itself. You can do it via a 10 minute unplugging of the battery (will need to reset radio code, windows and sunroof - see your manual). I would reset it, drive it for a bit, then go buy autozone to pull your codes with the free loaner scanner.

Yes, I replaced both and the machanic is experienced an knows his stuff, so I guess everything should be alright from his side. Couple days ago I had my battery shut off over two days and when it was turned on same thing after 35miles it was THERE. I don't know what to do anymore. The machanic said it must be something with the air or fuel system, but alot of things come in question.
