Hi, purchased a 2002 c220 cdi auto a few months back, and have had no trouble with it until now. The alarm goes off 3-4 times a day for no apparent reason. even after it has just been locked, within a minute the alarm goes off. Has anyone else had the same problem? Know how to fix this?

Yeah, mine did the same...diconnect and reconnect battery at rear. This should reset the the system.
