Default Buy New Tyres Help

I have C240 (2002), without sport's package. My car has abt 45 K miles and needs new tyres. I want to buy new tyres, but dont have any idea which one I shall go for. I live in chicago area, where we have snow in winters, not that bad snow but still.

I want to know which tyres shall I put, I dont want to put real expensive tyres as I wont keep this car for long, I will keep it for another year or so.

Car tyres are not really worn out but dealer said I need them, I see some threads still on tyres, I know they are not very good, like I see ~2-3mm deep thread.

Please guide me which size and which tyres shall I go for.

Also is it just the tyres (4)that I would need. or something else as well. Do we have tubes in tyres or are they tubeless. If yes do I need those as well ?

regards

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/home.do

Cheaper than Tire Rack in most cases because they include the shipping in their pricing.

You might want to also look at the Yokohama Avid series of tires, particularly the H4S. Very good in dry, wet and snow, plus they will save you some money. See the ratings on tirerack.com.
