Looking to change the brake lights on my c230 Kompressor. New to this forum. Glad to find it. Any help is appreciated.

 

changing the whole assembly is easy just 4 8mm nuts to come of the back side. maybe 5

 

WELCOME Devlin. Don't those bulb holders just remove from the back side (in trunk) with a simple twist counter clock-wise.

 

I have found that there are two finger tabs that you press together on the light bulb assembley inside the hatchback access panel.Sometimes if they can be difficult to reach properly to get enough leverage to press and pull outward at the same time.It takes a little effort and patience.Once you get the hang of it it is really quite simple to change the bulbs.
