Belt Tensioner Pulley Removal '97 C230
I want to change the shock absorber (red rectangle) to the belt tensioner on my wife's car but can't figure how to remove the pulley to get to the bottom bolt of the shock. The pulley is mounted on an E10 torx bolt (yellow circle) and even though threaded, somehow forms the axel for the pulley. Is the pulley removed by unscrewing the torx bolt? Or, do I pry off the round cover plate at the end of the bolt and find a nut underneath securing the pulley? I can't find a diagram anywhere that shows an exploded view of the setup. I can't tell if the threading is left or righthand, but it seems I must remove the serpanting belt by using a torx socked/ratched wrench gently pushed to the left to reduce the tension on the pulley. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply! I'm trying to remove the pulley from the torx 10 but there is a thin round metal plate (red arrow) that I don't know how to remove. After the plate is removed, is there a bolt holding the pulley on to the torx bolt. I can't see under the plate so I don't know what's there. The pulley must come off for me to remove the bottom bolt of the tensioner shock absorber.
Thanks for your help.
