The factory radio/cd system in the new 2005 C230K sedan comes with only 6 speakers, compared to 12 with the Harmon Kardon system. I noticed the speakers are only in the front and rear doors and a pair of tweeters on the front, but no speakers on the rear shelf. Can I add additional speakers, specially on the rear shelf? Does anyone have the detail manual to verify the necessary speaker size and whether the factory speaker wires are already there? Thanks for your help.

 

how many watts of speaker do you plan to add?

the amplifier got limited output and might burn the power transistors.
