The eleven speakers are driven thru a seven channel amp in the trunk (over drivers rear wheel) there are two speakers ineach front door, one in each rear door, two pair in the back shelf tied in parrallel, and a tweeter behind the rear view mirror. I assume you are going to use the dash speakers (used for Cellular audio) or their location. The amp is a complicated and has been known to fail, up to 95 it was also controlled by a fader in the console. Post 95 the radio became a one piece, with four channel output, pre 95 it was a two piece two channel with the tuner residing at the base of the rear wheel. If you mess it up you will regret it the system sounds fine stock!

Peter:

I have just installed a Mikbox in a 2001 S600 to replace a Timeport phone. Works great, but only throught the rear speakers. I made the Mikbox connection just past the PSE box at the B & D connectors. Any thoughts?

I have not studied theMik box, there are schematics for MB on Pauls' site integrated phones. On the 140 body the Cell Audio went to the outboard dash speakers, on my 01 E it goes to the speakers in the front door triangle. Your request did not say 01. I wonder if you could tap the tel aid, since itis involved and would terminate Cell Tel, if Tel Aid kicked in.

hi, thanks for initial advice, but the tweeter or high frequency sound is not so clear so I intend to add additional titanium tweeter made by sound stream just to add clarity and crisp sound, I did it before on the 560 SEL just tap on the coaxial speakers and it work perfect, but for the 140 i just wanted to make sure before I proceed and more suggestion? wiring diagram?
