Default AC display/control. Burnt pixels.

Hi.
I have 2002 MB C320. This vehicle equiped with electronic AC display, right on the bottom under radio control. You know some models equiped with electronic temperature/AC controls.

The other day I noticed there are about 50 pixels are burnt what makes my display look ugly.

See attachment

Do I need to replace a whole unit and how much approx it will cost, or there is a workaround?

thanks

I've added the picture of the display.

It's funny but a bunch of peoplewith C240 and C230 retrofitted that displaywhen the C class first came out because they didn't like the simple *****. But consider yourself lucky if it's lasted this long, from what I hear, many of them go bad over time. They are not expensive or difficult to replace, I think they run about $250. Check Duval Motors, an MB dealer in FL that discounts parts online.
