Default Fixed the Pixels in my dash

Hi, Just bought a 2000 CLK 3.2,
The first job I needed to do was sort out the missing pixels on the outside temp display and the clock........ seen a couple of places on the net that charge £150 for the repair.
But I found a company that sells both the ribbons for 25 euros, thought its worth a shot, paid by Paypal..... 4 days later a small package comes from "Budapest"..... I took the dash out over the weekend.... it is a bit fiddly... replaced both ribbons....... and wow.... I have both lcd's working perfectly
Saved myself appox £120 notes

How do you get the ribbons out of the cluster?
Or do you seperate the PCB fron the cluster?

Thanks!

Hi Bob...... you have to separate the whole cluster until you have the PCB in your hand ... then you un-clip the ribbons (which are held in place by pressure)

You are sent instructions with the ribbons when you buy them!!!

That would be great.
I looked a little and found a few under Mercedes Pixel but would rather use your same supplier as you had an actual delivery from out of country(I worry a tad when it's out of country).
