I am sure this question has come up
I have a 2002 CLK 430 and the clock on the dash as well as the indicator to tell you what gear you are in has missing pixels and a few are always lit up.
Is this an easy fix our will I have to spend $$$$ to have a clock.

Your problem sounds like something a qualified shop should look at. All that stuff behind the cluster is solid state and you really need to know what you are doing and what you are looking for.
