'94 C280 Fuel Line Replacement - Need a little help.
Hello. New to the forum. Just bought a 94 C280 w/225K miles. When I got it home I realized I didn't inspect it very well under the hood. One of the fuel lines near the rear of the engine bay, above the oil filter, has a bulge and need to be replaced.
First question is: Is this just a rubber line that slips onto the fitting? Meaning that I could buy replacement line, cut it to length, and just slide it on to the fitting at each end? If so, I would be surprised that it wouldn't leak under fuel system pressure.
Second question: What is the best way to depressurize the system to replace said line?
I apologize if this is a rookie question, and appreciate any advice to help me prevent a burst fuel line in the engine bay.
