2007 Mercedess C280, how much should I pay for it?
Hi,
I'm looking at the 2007 Mercedes C280, 38,828 miles, certified used with leather and heated seats. They're asking for $20,994. How much should I bargain for? I'm thinking $18,000 out-of-the-door but is it too high/low? It was listed for $21,695 but they lowered it to $20,994 recently.
It's my 1st car so I'm very new to the whole used car buying thing. What is the different between invoice price and sticker price? As well as KBB and Black Book price?
I'm not that good at driving so will the C280 be a good fit for a new driver like me?

I don't know what the value of a used car but my advice would be to find out how long the warranty on this certified vehicle? Is there a extended warranty you can purchase? The reason I say this that I had issues with my 2006 c class without extended warranty and it's going to cost me.
My brother also has a C class with extended warranty and they fixed it a few times already. My aunt and cousin both had a E class and they basically had issues here and there however it was under warranty and had these issues fix. Once it was fix they sold the car.I only know one other person with his C class and he loves it and doesn't have any issues.
The drive is really smooth compared to other cars i have driven. I actually enjoy driving it however the maintance on it is pricey so be prepare to pay for it. Just get good insurance if not certain about your driving skills.
I hope i answer some questions and this is all my opinion. I'm sure you'll hear other stories.
