im going to this auto auction tommorow and want to know how much i should pay for this 1992 Mercedes S320? I went on kelley blue book online (www,kbb,com) to find the private party value, but they didnt have the s320 series. All i could find was se300. It's private party value was $10,600. Heres how nice the car is: All white beautiful original paint, no dents at all, perfect leather, runs quiet , shifts great, 112,000 miles, CLEAN TITLE. tHIS AUCTION IS A CHARITY AUCTION WHERE PEOPLE DONATE THEIR CARS FOR A Tax writeoff. My whole family gets their cars from there, and we have never had one problem (knocking on wood).
Anyways, 1) how much should i bid? I was thinking like $5,000.
Is the S320 heaper or worth more than a 300SE??

DO YOU know a website that will tell me the value, beacause kbb.com only lists the 300se. My parents went today to bid for the car.

WE didnt get the car. The friggin thing went for $8,200. I was pissed to find that out. it had 112,000 miles and was super clean. I told my parents to spend 6,500 max. Do you think the buyer got a good deal? How much can he sell it for, which he probably will.
