In the process of having carbs rebuilt for 66 250s. Car has dual Zenith carbs..what is a good price to pay to have them rebuilt and installed? I was quoted $1200 by my mechanic...would i be better off ordering a weber conversion for $850 and having someone install it?

 

$1,200 is ludicrous.

I usually charge 1-2 hours ($60/hr) per carb. plus parts.
