Guys,

I'm looking to take my first step into the world of Mercedes Benz. I'm looking at buying a late 2005 c180k avantgarde (sports) from a Mercedes dealer for £15k with 28k miles. Does anyone own a car similar? Can recommend it? I have checked into some reviews What Car and such like and being the facelift model seems to receive favourable reviews, indeed recommending the 180k as the best value engine. My only concern is the boot, never owning a saloon before I can't decide how often I am going to be wishing I could drop the back seats.

I love the look of the new c class (sport model) but that will have to wait a few years. I have to say though sitting in both I actually thought the previous models interior was more 'special'. I was impressed with the new one but the plastics seem very hard to me for a car of such a price.

Anyway, any thoughts/help would be appreciated.
