Hell I am trying to remove the key module or ignition from the 2001 C320 and need help on removing it. Can anyone give me any instructions on removing this part? Thank you in advance for any help.

 

If you look really closely (try using a light) you wil see there is a grove around the trim ring. If you have a really small flat head screwdriver you can get it to turn and that ring will screw off. That should get you started. I posted some pics somewhere on it when I was changing out the stepper motor arm. Ill try and find a link.
