HELP!!! My car is locked in Park and won't turn over. Upon calling mechanics in the area, it seems that the gear box is locked up. I am told the entire housing will have to be replaced? Is this correct, how can I do it, etc. My son spilled just a little tea on the woodgrain gear shift plate in the car and apparently some seeped into the gear shift? Anyway...can ANYONE please help me??? Thank you and God bless you!
