1999 C280 valve stem seals?
hi you C280 owners.
Check engine light comes on after half hour drive, then few minutes later volumes of white-blue smoke out the exhaust. then smoke stops. Engine never overheats. But used a quart of oil coming home. cleaned out sludge/replaced all breather hoses. Problem remains. Idles smoothly; runs fine for half hour. codes say single/multiple cylinder misfires. EGR fault code did NOT appear. about 90K on this 1999. If seals, can I do it without removing head.
