supercharger always engaged

RE: supercharger always engaged
A supercharger runs off of a pulley that usually is run off the crank pulley. By this I mean that when the vehicle is on the supercharger will also be working. I'm no MB tech speacialist but I'd say that there is nothing wrong.
If your comparing a supercharger and turbocharger you gotta know how each one of them work before trying to find a problem.

RE: supercharger always engaged
Thanks for the advise. You're right!!! The supercharger is fine. I concluded that the supercharger was engaged even at idle initially because I can see the clutch and supercharger spinning at idle. I disconnected the electrical connection to the clutch and drove the slk32 around and without the superchargerengaging, the drive really sucks.Doing this confirmed that the supercharger really is not engaged at idle.
