all i can say is be prepared to spend money / its overall a good car but they have so many stupid little problems that cost big. that car also falls into the class action law suit for the water drain getting clogged and water pouring into the interior. but if the car was maintained by a benz dealership the car probably never had that issue. its alot of cars that dont get to the dealer that actually have this issue and other issues too. try to get a car that has full service records with a dealer.

AMGs are nice but will cost you big on Gas and tires and brakes.

 

We are looking for a ML 55 AMG, older body style, Dos the car take so much more gasoline (MPG) as the ML 500 ??

I have an '04 S55. Front rotors at 24,000km. No warranty - driver caused. Just been told right rear strut is leaking 65,000km and can expect the others to follow. More on this later. The dealers look at it as a badge courage, you should feel good about spending $2200 for a glorified shock absorber But it is a great car. Had it four years now and still get a kick out of driving it not to mention it is the fastest four door sedan out their. This can get you into trouble also Good luck in your search.
