nothing. But they are starting to become more bland than the Camry.
I don't know if Cadillac is going independent or what, but I think the rest of GM could use a few of their car designers and then they could maybe get a few engineers from somewhere anywhere. They need help. But if they stop messing around and make a few good cars they should be out of money trouble in no time.

And they should've never killed the Camaro in the first place. That basically forced die hard Camaro fans to buy Mustangs.

Maybe its cause i never expected alot out of GM just a well running reliable car. Nothing fancy or special really but would start every time and get u from point A to B. Not the best fit and finish for sure. And i have been around GM cars from the 40s-now and all of them were reliable. My dad owned a 72 olds that he bout in 74 and sold in 2005 and never once needed brakes he put over 80,000miles on that car in that time of course it had not been his daily driver since the 70s and early 80s.

They are starting to take reliable out the equation now.

Well to be fair, just about every manufactuer is taking reliable out the equation. Ain't nothing like praying that your shiny new 2005/2006 will start. While you can hop in the old box Chevy and watch it run, sometimes not well, but it will get you to work.

GM is still spread too thin. They need to focus on fewer models. They're out of touch with their customers. They almost killed the Corvette at the end of the C4 life in '96. An uproar from customers drove them to produce the C5 and now the C6 Z06, which rivals cars costing 5 times as much, no matter what any uninformed stupid asses may say.

The F-bodies (Camaro & Firebird) were discontinued because of "lack of sales," but they had a loyal following. Dumb move. They should have improved them and built on that existing customer base. Expect to see the Camaro make a comeback as a front-wheel-drive four door with a 190hp V6... and some silly-looking RS, Z28, or SS badges on them, just like that joke-of-a-car the current Impala.

At least the old Impala 96 went out with a bang. But as far as name killing every American brand has done it. Thunderbird?, GTO?, Charger the one in the 80s, Malibu, Mustang ones in the late 70s early 80s.

They need to bring back the 1996 Impala in true form. Why the hell did they kill it? And how dare them to put the Impala name plate on that wanna be camry thingy. And the funny thing is that the 1996 Impala is valued at the same or sometimes even more than the newer ones. Do GM see this or are they too busy trying to develop a 4 banger to put into the Impala.

And you're correct mbz300SDL, except, I already ragged on Ford for it in earlier posts. And I already ragged on Dodge products for their interiors. It's just GMs turn. Don't worry, Hyundai's turn is coming.

They did kill the Thunderbird; the GTO, damn GM strikes again. The Charger that shall not be mentioned of the 80s, courtesy of Dodge; The Malibu, GM must of been high when they ruined that line; Mustang in the time period where Ford was still trying to find itself and couldn't distinguish a good idea from a bad one. Can you believe that they made the Probe to actually replace the Mustang. They must of been sniffing way too much gasoline fumes. I'm glad they snapped out of it fairly quick and killed that wretched thing. I think they American brand just need to stop think, take a day off, breath, and come up with a serious plan. And Chrysler need to stay on top of the game before it becomes Daimler-Benz all over again, with Chrysler finding itself in Daewoo's shoes. No lie, Chrys. haven't been doing too bad lately, with the help of Benz parts, but hey what ever to get ahead.
