Default valve cover gasket torque specifications

I have a 1987 300e with the 3.0L. I am replacing the valve cover gasket and want to know how much to tighten the bolts.
Thanks

Is there any specific order you need to tighten down the bolts? From front to back or side to side, or a star pattern?

Thanks again

You would not use ft. lbs you would use inch pounds but if you did get ft lbs you can divide by 12.

But for inch pounds 10 newton meters equals 88.5 inch pounds.
here is a site that will help you
