E320 Roof Antenna Mast Cover with GPS Cover Base Gasket (W210)
Hi Everyone,
During my search to buy my Roof Antenna Mast cover which was damaged and contacting the dealar and getting a sticker shock when I was informed that it would cost close to $200.00 to replace it since I have to buy the whole thing ( which include the Rubbor mast , Cap and the rubbor Gasket). I did some research online and found this compnay that sell what we all need. The rubbor mast and the bubbor gasket only for an amazing price of $34.95 shipped. The company name is 1aauto.com. I purchased the item and installed it . it works very nice. You just have to use some lubricant to insert the tip of the rubbor mast from the bottom of it into the cap. Good luck to everyone and stay away for the dealar crazy prices.

Installing the C230 GPS antenna gasket and mast cover
I am installing the C230 GPS roof antenna gasket and mast cover on my 2000 MB Kompressor. I thought it would be pretty easy, but after removing the cover screw I found the cover doesn't just lift off the gasket. Any help is appreciated!!!

The cover sits on top of the ruber gasket fastened only by the screw and whatever car wax and glop that has worked its way into there. Once the screw is loosened the cover should come off. You just have to convince it a little.
As for the OP, I think the price of the replacement cover and gasket is a rip-off. I only need the antenna cover and when the dealer had them the cost was under $7.

My understanding is that this antenna is only for the analog Tel Aid system that is disabled on most cars unless they upgraded to a new digital system. This antenna is not attached to your radio. It is likely that you do not need it.
I replaced the rubber cover prely for casmetic reasons.
If you do need to replace the antenna, you can get it here:
