I've recently purchased a Mercedes A200. I successfully managed to transfer all my music and audiobooks on to a SD card and plugged it into my Audio20 infotainment system. Success in that both music and audiobooks played. But fail because I am not able to random/shuffle play only my music. Whether I select <Random track list> or <Random media>, all my files, i.e. both music and audiobooks, get shuffled, rather than only those in the Music folder or only those in the Audiobooks folder. Any help gratefully received!

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! Are you able to create folders within the system or on the device that loads everything onto the SD card? Perhaps separating the music files from the audio-books ones before uploading them will fix this issue.

 

Thanks for replying. I copied the files, including the folder structure, over from a USB stick which I use in our family 7-seater - and where shuffling within a folder works! :-(

I'm also trying to ask the Mercedes dealership, but no response still after 2 weeks...oh well...
