I have a 1988 230ce that has an inoperable sunroof. The fuse under bonnet/hood is good. Where is the motor and relay on this model please? Many thanks.

 

If you have access to an amp meter, see if you have any current draw when trying to operate the sunroof, or else, see if the interior light dims when you try to operate the roof. If there is no current draw or the light does not dim, check your switch. If it does dim, you probably have a problem in your roof that has jammed it.

The motor is in the LH side of the boot, below the rear screen.
