Default split cv boots

I have a '81 240 D . The cv boots are torn. I have new axles but I need to drive the car for a little while before I can install them. They are barely starting to make noise and there is a very small amount of play in the axles if you jack it up and move them with your hand. I want to put on the kind of boots that have a seam on the side so you don't have to remove the axle, preferably the kind with a bolted rather than glued seam.I had good luck with this type of boot on an old VW van. Can anyone tell me where to find ones that are a specific fit for this vehicle? There are "universal" ones. Does anyone know if any of these will fit. I intend this to be a temporary fix that would stop the joint from becoming contaminated and to replace the grease. If I can find the correct boots, what would be the best way to clean the joints before installing the boots and grease? Should I drench it with parts cleaner? Thanks for your good advice.
