Default split cv boots

I posted this in general tech but thought I'd try here too. I have a '81 240D with torn cv boots. It's barely making noise ( a faint occasional clank) and there is a small amount of play in the axle when you jack it up and move the axle with your hand.. I need to drive it a little while longer before I can install the new axles which I already have. I need to find .the kind of replacement boots that have a seam on the side so you don't need to remove the axles. There are "universal' ones but I need to find ones that fit this vehicle. Does anyone know of universal ones that would fit or vehicle specific ones with seams. I'd prefer the bolted rather than the glued type.I had good luck with that type on an old VW bus. This is intended to be a temporary measure to stop contamination of the joint and replace the lost grease. Lots of people think the seamed boots aren't good. I would appreciate any advice.

Rebooting is a waste of time. Contact CVJ axles in Denver for replacements.
