Hello. I have a 2006 SL500 and the 2nd day I drove too far over a concrete parking barrier and noticed a black plastic block fell off. It's a thick black block that fits into a hole underneath the front center of skid plate area (under engine). It looks to be a protection device for a joint. It apparantly was too damaged to stay in and eventually fell out. I went to dealership to get another and the parts person had no idea what I was talking about and asked a service person who also had no idea....buyers remorse here. Any idea what this is called so I can buy another? Thanks much,
