The engine of SEL 560 1990 vibrates when I am idling right after starting the car or am stopped at the traffic lights. When this happens the fuel economy indicator shifts to the right a little bit meaning the car is not idling at the best fuel efficiency, so I know something is wrong. This had happened before and a mechanic neighbour made an adjustment with a screw driver and it was running fine. My neigbour has moved now and I am struggling to find the spot under the hood where this adjustment needs to be made.

Can someone help me with this?

 

it is the hole in the top of your aircleaner cover just behind the wingnut that holds the cover on! I had this problem with my 1990 560 SEL also and ended up having an injector replaced. Runs nice and smooth now !
