is is easy to get to, easy to clean, do you use carb. cleaner,,,how much,,can you use a paper towell?

sulfur smell is on fuel quality too.
carb cleaner is also good to soften the carbon deposits and you can clean them up with anything...depending on how thick the accumulation are.

The sulphur smell is probably coming from the cats. Do you smell it when you cruise for awhile then stomp the gas pedal to pass or something? If so, change brands of gas and see if that makes a difference.
Cleaning the EGR tube is never a bad idea. They do get grimey.
