Default is this right, or not.??? for a 1995 c180 sport

hi all.

i have recently purchased a 1995 c180 sport.
it seems to be a great car, i like it alot, now i am used to the hill starts....(foot parking brake, take some getting used too)..lol

it seems to hit rev limiter on 3500/4000 revs. but it got 7000 on the gauge for red line.
i been told it may be in limp mode.????

it seems to drive fineexcept from this. i change the basics just in case they were breaking down under throttle, plugs and leads. exactly the same.

if it is in limp, i know it could be anything and i must get it code read. i just dont want to spend the money and find out i am havin a blond moment, and it is ment to be like this.....(no affence to blonds ment...lol)

if it isn't in limp, and is faulty, would anybody know what it is.???

any help is appreciated.

many thanks

stu pidden

You need to take it to your nearest Dealer and let them give you a written itemized estimate of repair.
