Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and I have a star certified ml350 2006 with 70,000km (40,000 miles) on it and it is coming to the end of its factory warranty. I have the major power train left with the star certified but Mercedes is offering to extend the road side assistance and bumper to bumper warranty through Mercedes for 2 more years for approx $2500.000 inc the taxes. I understand the peace of mind and insurance part of it I guess I am wondering whether this particular model would be a good one to take a chance on and go without the warranty or whether there have been a few problems with the model and I would be wise to take the warranty. Any opinions would be appreciated, Thank you all in advance.
